the author...
Upon starting traditional chiropractic practice, it hit me in the face. When someone comes in with a relatively minor problem, I saw good results. When someone came in with a chronic, more persistent problem the results were not great.
Chiro school never taught me the things that I now wanted to know. School told me you adjust what hurts. I took extra steps in school to be prepared for anything, but I felt anything but prepared for those 20% of patients with problems that keep coming back.
If I was fixing a problem, why did the same symptom pattern keep coming back?
What is the biggest problem I need to fix first?
When is it a problem I should be treating?
When is my treatment not effective and when should I refer out?
This is why for the last nine years I haven't adjusted. I have been able to help countless patients get their life back.
Adhesion is one of the most common underdiagnosed causes of chronic pain. We are a specialized clinic not because we set out to be “unique” but because status quos wasn’t good enough.

Definitely would recommend for anyone dealing with pain and have tried other methods of treatment before (As I have both chiropractic and physical therapy).
